Invited Guest Speaker + 1 or 2 Invited Experts + Abstract Presentation: 60 min
(a) PowerPoint Presentation by Invited Guest Speaker: 35 min
(b) PowerPoint Presentation by author(s) of selected Abstracts: 5-10 min
(c) Panel Discussion with Q&A: Guest Speaker and Experts: 10-15 minEach INSPIRE Seminar has 4 components:
(1) Guest Lecture.
(2) Transformative Idea Presentation. Students/postdocs/staff/faculty will submit Abstracts of innovative ideas based on the seminar topic at least one week in advance and the top 2 Abstracts will be published on the GCC website and invited for short PowerPoint presentations. Abstracts will include the names and affiliations of the authors and scientific text of 10-12 sentences. The presenting author will include their email address. All authors should agree to the presentation and publication of the Abstract on the GCC website. Abstracts will be peer reviewed and revised by the authors as may be necessary before placing them on the website. The authors should carefully consider the pros and cons of publishing their Abstracts online. Each Abstract receives a DOI (digital object identifier) from GCC.
(3) Panel Discussion with Invited Experts.
(4) Scientific Report of the Seminar. Students/postdocs will prepare a one-page summary report of the seminar adding their own scientific viewpoint, comments and conclusions and email it to GCC within 7 days after the seminar. The summaries will be ranked by the GCC committee, and the first authors of the top two summaries will receive awards. -
The seminar program is expected to inspire ongoing or new research projects in the topic

Participants will submit Abstracts of innovative and original cardio-oncology ideas at least one week before the seminar, and authors of 1 or 2 selected Abstracts will be invited to give a 5- or 10-min talk. Abstracts that are based on standard or incremental approaches that represent obvious next steps in the field will have low priority for selection.

The Guest Speakers and Invited Experts may opt to serve as mentors for potential research projects resulting from the Abstracts.

Within one week after attending the seminar, students/postdocs will submit a one-page summary based on their understanding of the seminar, including their own ideas and comments for first and second prize awards.
