Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees consists of the founding members or representatives of the founding institutions of the consortium. They serve as guardians of the consortium and conserve the core values, objectives, and policies of the consortium.
Unanimous approval of all the members of the GCC Board of Trustees is required for adding new member institutions to the consortium, or for adding their representatives to this Board or to the executive committee. Each institution has only one representative on the Board and Executive Committee. Members of the Board can also serve as members of the GCC Executive Committee.
As a collective body, the trustees hold the highest authority and responsibility to ensure the fulfillment of an organization’s mission. Major decisions made by all the committees, including the Executive Committee, of the consortium require the final approval of the Board of Trustees.
